True form of Government revealed! Again!

For many years Chindu has been tooting the horns of the PRC's system and governance. The real form of the so called "socialism" has been revealed with the election of Xi Jinping to Vice-President.
The Chindu reports this "election"
http://www.hindu.com/2008/03/16/stories/2008031659521600.htm

The article written by the thoughtful Ms.Pallavi Aiyar, while depicting his achievements of growth in the Golden Triangle areas, seems to neglect the fact he was leading the development of the Yangtze region and not the Shanghai region as stated in the article.
the economies of Shanghai, Zhejiang and Fujian have flourished

The larger issue here is the form of Government on display. If you look at Mr.Jinping's resume, it stands out that his family has been in the upper echelons of the Party for many years. Also you can clearly notice a trend of rapid promotions with a careful track of "corruption-busting". It bears mention that he will oversee the Olympics this year which will set him up for the Presidency in 2012.
The word to describe such a Government is Oligarchy - rule by a few. Of course, the people who are plugged into The Matrix will not speak about that.

[q]Addressing a press conference in New Delhi, Yechury said the clashes were an internal affair of China. "How can we condemn the incidents in Tibet, which is an internal part of China?" he asked.[/q]

Suddenly the marxists don't wish to interfere in other country's affairs forgetting their own talk of human rights. No editorial from Chindu lecturing about human rights either.

Anonymous,
Great catch there !
If a similar thing had happed in the Gaza Strip that would have caused a huge furor by them. The level of hypocrisy is simply amazing.

When it comes to Tibet, CPM won't "interfere"; U. S. shouldn't "interfere" and talk about Nandigram. But when it comes to Nepal, CPM can interfere.

LiC N Ram should change his name to N Renmin.

Renmin Ribao, is Chinese for People's daily. Their currency, too, is Renminbi=people's currency.

Where are the likes of A. Roy, the JNU jolawallahs and the rent-a-crowd (inhuman) human rigths brigade? Not to speak of all those bleeding heart art-film and docu peddlers. Perhaps, in their reckoning Tibetans are not humans. Anyhow, it is just pathetic on the part of comrade editor to try to hide a whole big pumpkin in a small bowl of rice.

ranjith,
Excellent point.
Of course the CPM would comment on Nepal as its the only Hindu country and the rebels there are Maoists.
Hypocrisy galore.

r,
The article of Mr.Raman is brilliant in tone and content, specifically the degradation to becoming a mouthpiece of a neighboring country.

socal,
I'm not sure Ram's got the cojones to take on the Lama this time. He likes to hit people when they are down.
