Mile Sur Mera Tumhara ...

As rightly pointed by an anonymous reader, I've updated the title.
Chindu has an article - Against extremism

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad (centre) joins hands with his counterparts from Pakistan Asif Ali Zardari (right) and Afghanistan Hamid Karzai, as they arrive in Tehran on Sunday for a summit on Islamic extremism and drug smuggling. They signed the Tehran Declaration under which they will work towards bringing security to the region.

Really, a Shia working with a Sindhi Sunni and a Pashtun sounds like a plan. Except that none of the three have the ultimate say in their country.
Ergo the moniker for them - The three stooges.

Morning first thing I saw in the Hindu was this pic. Had a good laugh. I felt like they are singing mile sur mera tumhara together!

I am sure MMS will ask for a special treaty with them in their efforts to curb terrorism. After all, he is a strong PM!

Whenver MuKa is in trouble he directs his anger against "Aryans" in TN and now the anger seems to be particularly directed against a "newspaper baron in the State".

Chief may be the target of MuKa as Chindu ran an editorial yesterday mildly criticising DMK for pushing MuKa's family interests.

MK LASHES OUT AT NEWSPAPER BARON

Chief Minister and DMK president M Karunanidhi on Monday accused a newspaper baron in the State of running a malicious campaign against the Congress-DMK alliance during the just concluded Lok Sabha elections.

Without naming the newspaper owner, he said the person camped in Delhi and continued his campaign among other media.

"But the results of the polls has made that person and the Delhibased television channels cut a sorry figure," he said in a statement here.

Referring to former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru's remark that the Ramayana was the story of Aryan-Dravidian rivalry, Karunanidhi said those who closely followed the politics at the national level and in Tamil Nadu would agree that the statement still holds good.

"Even now, the enemies of Dravidas, hidden under the appendage of 'Dravida,' desperately try to attack us by re-enacting Vaali Vadham [Lord Rama, in the Ramayana, killed Vaali, the monkey king, by hiding himself].

The enemies of Dravidas use newspapers and television as weapons." He said till the results were out on May 16, a strong campaign was going on in the media, asserting that the DMK-led alliance would draw a blank and that the Union Government would be formed as per the wishes of AIADMK general secretary J Jayalalithaa.

"A newspaper owner ran a malicious campaign as if the person has taken a vow," the Chief Minister said.

Nothing surprising in Muka's comments. He has two sticks to beat and make pulp of poor Brahmins of Tamilnadu. One is "You came via Khyber Pass" and the other is "I am an ordinary man (saamaanyan). You belong to "Mettukkudi" (a euphemism for Agraharam).
A man on the street.

Whenever Karunanidhi showers abuses on the Kasturi Building occupants, Chindu's much publicised support for secularism is of no use. The curse of "original sin" still hangs on to the present inhabitants of KB, irrespective of their much fancied socio-political inclinations.

CodeNameV,
Brilliant. Your idea is probably the caption of the week I'll rename the post.

Anonymous,
Thanks for the note.
Well Mu Ka has never been one to accept the truth. In fact I give credit to LiC for publishing the truth about Mu Ka's nepotism.
After all it is a journalist's job to publish the truth.
If someone can provide documentation on how Kalaignar TV got the 100+ crores to startup that would expose the family for what it is.

Anonymous,
Unfortunately for Mu Ka, history proves him wrong time and again. The Aryan invasion theory has been disproved as there is no scientific evidence. Hence Mu Ka's statements just serve to disparage a community without evidence.

Anonymous,
The case here is that LiC's support to the Left does not help him in TN where they are non existent. Perhaps had he been in Calcutta it might've been helpful.
