In many family oriented Indian movies the child is often the fulcrum between its parents getting together or moving away. Apparently in Indian politics the same apply. Rahul's overtures to the Left parties about a post poll alliance (which exposes the secular parties stance) appears to have not gone well with the DMK which had decided not to canvass for the Congress candidates. Now Sonia has decided to avoid rallies in TN. The spin given to this is,
Zardari in another bombastic statement states,
What about Kargil Mr. Zardari? Terrorism in Kashmir? All instances of war.
Elsewhere in the country, the accused killers of AP CM YSR were sentenced to life imprisonment. Not spit on the grave of Y.S.Raja Reddy, but as per people with the inside story the a-hole deserved what he got.
In the Editorials Psycho Sidd rants about India's intervention against the Maoist Nepal government. I can see his blind faith towards his ideology but some of his rationale is hilarious, for example,
The primary view of the Nepal Army chief was to ensure qualified persons joined the army. But Left wing writers like Sidd would want every goon with the sickle and hammer logo to be automatically inducted.
A few weeks ago, Central and State intelligence agencies had perceived a threat to the VVIP from the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam, Laskhar-e-Taiba and some sympathisers of Tamil Eelam.
Zardari in another bombastic statement states,
Democracies have never gone to war. No Pakistani democratic government has gone to war with India. We’ve always wanted peace.

He remained firmly opposed to the democratisation of the army and did his best to scuttle integration.

It was Jayalalitha who ordered the arrest of Malini & co. Now The Hindu has not qualms in supping with her.
Of all the Indian news papers, only The Hindu is crying hoarse about their Nepali comrades.
Varadarajan says: "The Congress went ahead and concluded the nuclear deal despite knowing it had just lost its majority...". This is bare twisting of facts. Between July 8 and July 22 the govt. was in minority, but they only had discussions with IAEA. No deals were concluded during this period.
Chindu (Chief) already showed its preference for JLalitha (or, at least it was some kind of a deal) during the arrest of Sri Jayendra Saraswathi some years ago, when he portrayed the Acharya guilty even before trial. Besides, Chief blatantly colluded with JL to create a rift between the Kanchi acharyas (he accompanied Sri Sankara Vijayendra in the car, on his return from AP). Sadly, Chief did not suceed. He faithfully and uncritically carried all the planted stories by JL's police force against Sri Jayendra Saraswathi and never once criticised the reign of terror that cop Premkumar unleashed on the followers of Sri Jayendra Saraswathi.

Chindu's affections are simply due to the loyalties to its political masters. Remember Yechury's trips to Nepal to broker peace and usher in the Maoist government.
Shyam,
Thanks for pointing that out. If you do find Sidd's email, do feel free to shoot him a note. Lets see his response to actual facts, than figments of his imagination.
Anonymous,
LiC is more of a messenger boy than a player in most of these incidents.
However his desire to be a broker in political deals directly contradict the ethics of unbiased journalism.
