Neither does chindu murmur a protest

N.Ram finds new respect for DMK bosses. They have been referred to as Mr. Karunanidhi and Mr. Stalin throughout the editorial, a luxury afforded to very few.
The Hindu : Opinion / Editorials : Stalin in line
not even a murmur of protest is likely to be heard from within the DMK.

Thiru K. Anbalagan (perennial No. 2 Dravidian) magnanimously declined the top post due to health reasons. But, what about his own children? He should have proposed to Thiru Mu Ka that he (KA) would like to hand over the post to his son or daughter in the dynastic traditions already established (like in Kashmir) as pointed out by Mu Ka himself.

A new and funny hierarchy has been set by Mu Ka. His son is Dy CM, but ranked No. 3 in the cabinet! Which in reality would mean that the No. 2 post is a dummy. Poor "Peraasiriyar".

Friends...How can Ram protest against dynastic traditions in DMK?... Dynastic tradition is exactly what is followed in The Hindu... An Old Uncle, who has gone slightly bizarre in his head, is the Editor-In-Chief. A Morose Cousin of the Old Uncle is the 'Executioner Editor'. Several nephews and grand-nephews of the Old Uncle are the Joint,Deputy, Assistant, Joint-Deputy, Deputy-Joint, Deputy-Assistant, Assistant-Deputy, Joint-Assistant, Assistant-Joint Editors,Resident Editors, Non-Residnet Editors,Bureau Chiefs, Special, Very-Special, Especially-Special and Not-So-Special Correspondents...etc. Someone who came as cook's assistant into Kasturi House, during the time of the Great Grandpa of the Old Uncle is now the Reader's Editor...
