Let's see, Karat + JJ = opportunistic alliance. Now does LiC start singing the praises of Amma or does he keep up the 'secular' ideology and support MuKa and his cronies. Probably LiC will have to go with his 'tail' between his legs to Amma.

By now Chief would have ordered the archives of the Chindu to hurriedly fish out any pro-secular speech of the new-found ally of the comrades. But, that would antagonise the Dravidian patriarch with whom Chindu has got more than ideological links. Chindu may find itself in the political version of the classical dilemma, to be or not to be.
Anon,
I concur, the machinations of the Left and other so-called secular wing to ally with improbable partners during times of election has always been given one reason, defeat the forces of fundamentalism (aka NDA/BJP). The media being supportive dogs have reported the same without questioning the motives.
Thus they are doing the public a disservice.
