Naxal Ram appreciates Karunanidhi

Naxal Ram praises Karunanidhi for questioning Ram's credentials. Surprisingly, the questions raised by Karunanidhi are acceptable while BJP's reaction is communal. Communist double-standards. If Ram was just a myth, I wonder why Naxal Ram is calling himself by that name.

The Hindu : Opinion / Editorials : Sense & sensibility on channel
Chief Minister Karunanidhi has done well to come up with a timely clarification that should put an end to the controversy.

As for the BJP, instead of debating the merits of the Sethusamudram
project and its economic and ecological implications, it has done its
worst to convert the controversy triggered by the now-withdrawn
portions of the Central government’s affidavit and Mr. Karunanidhi’s
remarks, wildly misrepresented, into a religious issue, which it
decidedly is not.

Chindu's advice, "As for the BJP, instead of debating the merits of the Sethusamudram project..." doesn't seem to apply to Karunanidhi. This fellow, instead of sticking to the merits of the project, goes wild and foulmouths Lord Rama with third-rate street language, like "who is this Rama, where did he study etc". Added to this he has discovered (oops, "quotes" Valmiki) that Rama was a "drunkard". Chindu, faithful as ever to its buddies, does not report this, leave alone condemn such abusive language. Selective secularism, at its worst.

BJP HQ, Hindu Munnani office attacked in Chennai

Chennai, Sept. 23 (PTI): The BJP headquarters and Hindu Munnani office in the city were attacked today by alleged DMK supporters protesting the reported 'fatwa' by former BJP MP Ramvilas Vedanti against DMK patriarch and Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi.

The houses of BJP's Tamil Nadu unit President H Raja and his father-in-law were also attacked allegedly by DMK men at Karaikudi in neighbouring Sivaganga District late last night............

There are many more "alleged" DMK men in this article, while the fatwa is not "alleged", but "reported".

It is funny to see the assertion by Chindu of "alleged" DMK men! In the TV coverage one could see any number of DMK flags. Besides, several news websites reported the presence of a DMK state minister, a local DMK MLA and the DMK mayor of Chennai. Only for Chindu these are "alleged" DMK fellows!!
