The BJP's chargesheet must have been ready for release even before CPM thought of preparing such a chargesheet. In yet another example of giving CPM undue importance, the "special correspondent" tries to give the impression that the CPM is setting the direction for political dialogue in the country. The line itself looks like it has been inserted as an afterthought to meet Chindu's high journalistic standards (read as promoting cpm). It sounds more like a grouse that BJP stole CPM's thunder.

The BJP’s “charge sheet” was released soon after it became known that the Communist Party of India (Marxist) was preparing such “charge sheet.”
